First Tooth!

Cameron got his first tooth! He was seven months old on the 20th and is making all kinds of funny faces and is a really good eater. He loves just about everything.  Along with his bottles, today he had oatmeal with mashed up banana for breakfast; mommy made sweet potato and pureed nectarine for lunch; and rice cereal with pureed plum and sweet potato for dinner. He is army crawling around and pulled himself up for the first time today.  His laugh is the best thing my ears have ever heard and I just want to make him laugh and smile all day. He has been sleeping about 12 hours every night for a couple of months now and takes two to three naps a day.

We've been enjoying our summer.  Auntie Stina came to visit us for one month, and we had so much fun.  We took her to Napa, SF for Grampa and Grandpa Boyd's birthdays, and many trips to the pool.  Daddy went to Scotland and Ireland for 11 days to play golf with his buddies. He had a great time on this trip of a lifetime. Our next trip is out to Naples in October.  We're very excited!

4th of July Weekend

We had a really fun weekend with Cameron.  Every holiday is so much more fun with him around. Big Jim and Big Shar came to town and had a fun filled weekend.  Our friends, The Waxbergs' also were in town and we spent Friday Kayaking with them on Lake Natoma.  And then they came with us to our Club to watch the fireworks.  Our neighborhood does a 4th of July parade and we met up with our friends The Kaufmans' for the parade and a day at the pool. Cam loves the water and he borrowed his friend, Louie's, raft.  We had to go out and get him one so we could enjoy it the rest of the summer!

Daddy's Day

For Brian's very first Father's Day, Cameron and I brought daddy coffee in bed and then made him blueberry french toast.  We went on a family walk to Starbucks (yes, daddy loves coffee!) and then met Brian's parents in Walnut Creek at Il Fornaio for lunch.  We had a wonderful day together.

Mayo, Mama's Day and Maui...Oh My!

Our baby is turning into a little boy so fast. He was 4 months old on May 20th which is so hard to believe and had his check up yesterday.  He weighs 16lbs 1.6 oz and is 24 3/4 inches.  He is sleeping about 9 to 11 hours at night. He is a healthy, happy, giggling, dribbling little boy.  He had another set of shots and Brian and I continue to be impressed by Cameron.  He is our hero and we're amazed as to how tough he is.

Well, it's been a while and we have been so busy with Cinco De Mayo, Mother's Day and decided to take a last minute trip to Maui!  Our club has a Cinco party so we got Cam all decked out in his hat and flip flops and Brian and I just try to be as cool as him.  It was a nice evening out for all three of us.  My first mom's day was the best. We spent the weekend at Brian's parents in the Bay area. We had a lovely dinner with family and friends on Saturday and spent Sunday lounging. My favorite part of the day was when Cameron fell asleep on my chest.  I am treasuring these cuddle moments.  Brian continues to spoil me and took us to Maui, we had such a fantastic time.  Cam loves the tropical weather and just does so well with traveling and the time change.  He is a champ on the airplane and is a true pleasure to be with.  We need to get him signed up to earn some frequent flyer miles, he's already been to Phoenix, Naples and now Maui. We just dipped his feet in the ocean but spent some time in the kiddie pool.  He is a water baby and it's so fun to watch.

Easter 2011

Happy Easter Every Bunny!

We hosted another successful Easter weekend...and this time Cameron was with us to entertain!  Brian's family came to town on Friday and we went to The Broiler Steakhouse for dinner.  Every year we take them to a new restaurant and it was delicious.  Saturday the guys go golfing and in a few years Cameron will be with them, for now he's stuck with the ladies shopping and then we BBQ at our house in the evening.  For Easter Sunday, we go to our Country Club, Del Paso, and have a fabulous brunch.  The Easter bunny is there and they have an egg hunt for the kiddos.  Next year Cameron will participate with his basket.  This was by far our best Easter yet!
